This project was intended as a demonstration for a computerized Land Related Information System which could potentially be implemented in the other 35 States in Nigeria. The project involved the taking of all land related information available within the States Government's records which is currently maintained in paper files and placing that information onto electronic media so that it could be accessed by a number of departments with involvement in land related matters. Information included Land Titles registration, Land Administration as well as Land Use planning. | | Description of actual services provided by your staff |

The first stage of the project involved procurement of all necessary supplies and upgrading of buildings to carry out the assignment and the items procured by Reid Crowther on behalf of the Lagos State Government were as follows:
- Hardware and Software
- Land Information Support Unit Building Renovation
- Existing Generator Set Refurbishment
- New Generator Set
- Generator Set Maintenance
- Office Equipment
- Field Equipment
- Vehicles
The second phase of the project involved the implementation of the detailed work involved in the Land Related Information System. This project involved the gathering of all data from the available legal plans and inputting it onto a data base tied in with a Geographic Information System (GIS). Project completion was in 1997 |
